[Family trip to Okinawa] 5 Great hotels for crawling babies

There are many child-friendly resort hotels in Okinawa, but this time, we have put together a list of hotels in Okinawa that have rooms where shoes are NOT allowed which is very hygienic for crawling babies.

[1] Hotel Orion Motobu Resort & Spa

A room with an aquarium-inspired low bed and no shoes allowed

This hotel locates at 7-minute walk from Churaumi Aquarium.

There are five rooms called Ocean Kids, which are designed with the images of clownfish, whale sharks, sea turtles, dolphins, and Chinese eels. These rooms are “no shoes allowed” rooms which has low beds that are safe even with small children.

In addition to Ocean Kids rooms, the Barefoot Room is also a room where shoes are not allowed.

[2] Grandvrio Resort Ishigakijima -Ocean’s Wing & Villa Garden-

A resort hotel with two hotels built on a vast site. Villa type rooms have rooms where you can take off your shoes.

A resort hotel on Ishigaki Island that consists of two buildings: the main building Ocean’s Wing and the new building Villa Garden. This Villa Garden rooms are rooms which are not allowed in with shoes to that it is very hygienic for crawling babies.

This is a Welcome Baby certified hotel on Ishigaki Island, and all rooms require you to take off your shoes at the entrance before entering.

It has one of the largest pools on Ishigaki Island and an indoor pool, so the whole family can enjoy it. There is also a relaxing space using Ryukyu tatami on the garden terrace of the hotel building.
