At Ashikari, all guest rooms have open-air baths fed by Yugawara’s soft hot spring water.
If you’re traveling with babies who can’t go into the hot springs or hotel’s big baths yet, it is great to have an open-air bath in your room. (*Please note that babies that are not toilet trained are not allowed in the hotel’s hot springs or big baths)
Safe in-room meals with baby/kids menu available
Basically, your dinner and breakfast will be served in a restaurant. However, there are room meal plans at this hotel, so if dining at a restaurant with children is a little hard, please contact the hotel.

At this hotel that just opened in July, the standard room Type-A with two double-sized beds and some of the deluxe rooms are “Child-friendly Certified Rooms”.
Both rooms are rooms where you take off your shoes, so it’s safe and hygienical for crawling babies.
They also have a wide range of rental equipment, including children’s amenity sets, children’s work clothes, baby soap, and baby bathtubs, so if you need anything, I recommend contacting the hotel in advance.
